ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join a growing client-side consultancy, supporting the delivery of refurbishment, fit out and capital works projects across leading tertiary education campuses throughout Sydney.

Working closely with experienced Project Managers and Project Directors, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to procurement, construction, handover and close-out.

This role offers genuine responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to progressively take ownership of projects as your experience develops.

DUTIES

- Support the delivery of tertiary education refurbishment, fit out and capital works projects
- Assist with procurement, consultant engagement and tender processes
- Coordinate consultants, contractors and key project stakeholders
- Support design development, approvals and construction activities
- Assist with project programmes, budgets, risk registers and milestone tracking
- Prepare project reports, meeting minutes and project documentation
- Attend and contribute to client, consultant and contractor meetings
- Assist with contract administration, variations and project close-out
- Support senior team members in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality expectations

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE





- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar
- Ideally 1-3+ years' experience in construction, project coordination or client-side project management
- Exposure to fit out, refurbishment or capital works projects
- Experience within education, tertiary education or live operational environments highly regarded
- An understanding of design, procurement and construction delivery processes
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder coordination skills
- Proactive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn
- A genuine ambition to develop into a well-rounded client-side Project Manager
