About your new role

As a Supply Officer, you will join Pacific National's Coal business based at our Nebo Maintenance Facility, reporting directly to the National Inventory Contracts Manager. In this role, you'll support maintenance operations by ensuring the timely availability of rollingstock spares, inventory and materials required to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

Working closely with maintenance, engineering and supply chain teams, you'll help optimise inventory management, support maintenance planning activities and contribute to overall fleet reliability and performance.

What you will do

- Prioritise safety in every moment, safely every day
- Support day-to-day supply chain, inventory and procurement activities
- Liaise with maintenance supervisors and technical teams to manage spares and rotables requirements
- Participate in maintenance planning meetings and materials forecasting activities
- Manage inventory movements, stock levels, receipts, storage and deliveries
- Create and manage purchase orders and inventory transactions through the CMMS
- Conduct stocktakes and investigate inventory variances




- Coordinate logistics activities to support maintenance schedules
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with WHS, rail safety and dangerous goods requirements
- Support continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives within warehouse operations

What we're looking for

- Full Australian working rights
- Minimum 5 years' experience in warehousing, materials handling and/or procurement
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Current unrestricted C-Class Driver's Licence
- Experience using inventory and procurement systems in a maintenance, industrial or heavy industry environment
- Strong understanding of inventory control and supply chain processes
- Excellent planning, organisation and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and administrative capability
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative
- Supply, warehousing or logistics qualifications and Maximo experience are desirable
