Concept Project Builds is a Perth-based interior fit-out company delivering retail, hospitality and medical projects across Perth. Our team manages both joinery production and installation in-house.

We’re looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our team. The role is workshop-based, producing custom joinery and fit-out components with installation work as projects require.

This is a trades role for someone with relevant experience. It is not suitable for entry-level applicants or apprentices.

About the role

You’ll work from plans and specifications to build custom joinery and fit-out components.

Key responsibilities

- Read and interpret plans, technical drawings and specifications.

- Machine and assemble joinery & fit out components.

- Operate woodworking machinery and tools, including panel saws and edgebanders.

- Assist with CNC operation; training provided.

- Help prepare material take-offs and cutting lists

- Keep your work area clean, organised and safe.

- Check completed work for accuracy and quality, and follow quality and safety procedures.





- Work independently and cooperatively with team members and other trades.

Skills and experience

To be considered, you’ll have:

- A trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Carpentry, Joinery or Shopfitting.

- At least four years’ experience in cabinet making and/or site installations.

- Experience with solid surfaces is highly regarded, but not essential.

- A current White Card.

- A valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport.

- Your own tools.

- Australian working rights.
