We are seeking an organised, enthusiastic and passionate Wedding Coordinator to join our Events Team in a full-time, permanent position. In this role, you’ll play an important part in bringing couples wedding visions to life, guiding them through every stage of the planning process and ensuring their special day is delivered seamlessly. Working closely with our Events Operations Manager and wider team, you’ll help create memorable wedding experiences from the initial enquiry through to the final farewell.

Sandalford is renowned for its world-class wine and tourism experiences across its restaurant, functions and banqueting division, cellar door, and concert operations. The estate’s stunning Swan Valley setting provides an unforgettable backdrop for weddings, from intimate celebrations to large-scale receptions.

THE ROLE

In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact for couples throughout their wedding planning journey, building strong relationships and ensuring every detail is thoughtfully coordinated. From the initial planning stages through to the wedding day itself, you’ll help bring each couple’s vision together while providing a professional, personalised and seamless experience.

You’ll coordinate wedding enquiries, client meetings and site inspections, documentation and manage the many details that go into preparing for each celebration. Working closely with the Events Operations Manager and operational teams, you’ll ensure all requirements are communicated clearly and that event plans are accurate, organised and ready for delivery.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating wedding timelines, floor plans, room layouts, styling requirements, supplier arrangements and final event details. You’ll also liaise with couples,



suppliers and internal departments, conduct pre-wedding meetings and provide hands-on support on wedding days to ensure everything runs smoothly. Strong administration and attention to detail will be essential, alongside the ability to think on your feet and respond confidently when plans change.

Flexibility is an important part of this role, with wedding days often falling on weekends and some evenings. If you love organisation, enjoy working with people and take pride in seeing all the little details come together to create something special, this could be the perfect chance.

ABOUT YOU

- Previous experience in wedding coordination, event coordination or a similar hospitality role

- Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- A genuine passion for weddings and creating memorable client experiences

- The ability to manage multiple weddings, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to manage unexpected changes

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with couples, suppliers and colleagues

- Confidence coordinating event documentation, floor plans, timelines and wedding requirements

- Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings as required

- Australian Driver’s Licence,



RSA Certificate and Police Clearance Certificate (issued within the last 6 months)

- Full Australian working rights
