About the role

Join JAYMAK as a Hygiene Technician and help deliver safer, healthier environments by cleaning and treating food and beverage refrigeration and related commercial equipment to the highest standards. Reporting to the Franchisee, you will work in line with JAYMAK operational procedures, customer requirements, relevant safety and food handling standards, and the company operations manual.

Key responsibilities

- Clean and treat commercial refrigeration and other customer equipment in line with JAYMAK specifications, service standards, and the operations manual.

- Follow all relevant workplace health and safety requirements, food safety standards, and company procedures at all times.

- Complete all required service records, job documentation, and operational paperwork accurately and on time.

- Capture before and after photographs of completed work where required.

- Conduct before and after swab testing for reporting and data analysis where required.





- Work collaboratively with the Franchisee to address service-related matters and support continuous improvement in work practices.

- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

What we're looking for

- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment and general maintenance skills.

- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and the Franchisee.

- Basic computer literacy and the ability to complete service records and operational paperwork accurately.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high service standards.

- Current and valid driver's licence.

- Clean police record.

- Working with Children Check.

- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination.

- Up-to-date influenza vaccination.
