Hogs Breath Cafe in the heart of Airlie Beach is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This is a excellent opportunity to work in a rapid-paced, fun hospitality environment in one of Australia’s top tourist destinations.

About the Role

As a Cook, you will support the kitchen team in preparing high-quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items in line with Hogs Breath Cafe standards
Assist with food preparation, portioning and plating
Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of all dishes
Follow recipes, menus and instructions from senior chefs
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, work areas and equipment
Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or wastage
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly
Follow all food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements
Work efficiently during busy service periods




Support team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

What We’re Looking For
Experience working as a Cook in a busy restaurant or café
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual and well-organised
Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
