The exciting opportunity
Join the lifestyle team at our 129-bed Lake Cathie aged care home
Part-time role working Tuesday - Friday from 10am to 6pm with the potential to pick up extra shifts on Monday
Deliver activity programs that cater to residents’ needs and preferences
Accompany residents on outings enabling them to take part in social events
Support residents with mobility, nutrition and hydration management, and meaningful activities that promote wellbeing
Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect residents’ care
Build robust, respectful relationships with residents, families, and staff

About you
Experience as a Lifestyle Officer in residential aged care or a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
Passionate about providing engaging and interesting activities for the elderly
Enthusiastic, compassionate, excellent communication skills, and able to build robust rapport with residents
A valid driver’s licence and unlimited working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered)
NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willingness to obtain
