Join the team behind some of Brisbane’s biggest events and experiences. As a Security Officer, you'll support the Precinct Protection & Logistics Manager to help keep our world-class precinct secure, secure, and running smoothly. From major events to the Ekka, no two days are the same.

This is a permanent part-time prospect, with the flexibility to work up to full-time hours.

What You'll Do
Support day-to-day safety, security, and logistics operations across the precinct.
Assist with security planning, procedures, and event operations.
Monitor security systems, control room operations, access control, and alarms.
Conduct incident reporting, risk assessments, and operational documentation.
Support emergency response, first aid, and workplace safety initiatives.
Ensure compliance with RSA requirements, crowd management practices, and Queensland liquor legislation.

To be successful you will require:
Security License (Class 1) with Crowd Control & Monitoring
RSA Certificate (RMLV desirable, not requirement)




Current QLD Driver's License
Forklift License (desirable, not requirement)
CPR & First Aid certified

The 22-hectare precinct, just 1.5kms from the CBD attracts a million visitors a year and is the state’s largest indoor / outdoor events space featuring the vibrant King Street dining precinct and the five-star Royal International Convention Centre.
