What you’ll do

As a Horticulture Trainee, you’ll work alongside experienced team members to:
Maintain and enhance parks, streetscapes, gardens, and public spaces across the area.
Learn to safely operate tools, machinery, and equipment relevant to horticulture.
Develop practical skills in tree care, planting, pruning, and general maintenance.
Record and report daily work to help manage resources and operations.
Contribute positively to a friendly, supportive, and collaborative team workplace.




Participate in ongoing training and professional development prospects.

Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job.
Completion of Year 11 or equivalent.
Current Driver’s Licence.
Commitment to providing high-quality customer service to the community.
