We are currently looking for experienced manufacturing operators to join a well-established business operating within the heavy industrial and construction materials sector. These are hands-on positions working within a busy manufacturing and production environment, assisting with the production, handling and movement of heavy construction materials.
Your recent role
We are seeking motivated and reliable manufacturing operators to join a energetic team. Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:
Operating production and manufacturing machinery
Monitoring production process and feeding raw materials into equipment
Cutting, measuring, processing and preparing materials
Quality control and checks of finished products
Operating forklifts to move materials
Loading and unloading trucks
Manual handling and general labouring duties
Following site safety procedures
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in production, manufacturing or logistics
Experience within a heavy industrial environment is highly regarded
A current LF Forklift Licence and experience with awkward, heavy loads is highly regarded
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
