About This Prospect

Gough Recruitment works with Perth builders and contractors across commercial construction and fit-out, and we're looking to speak with experienced Project Coordinators. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll put you forward for the roles that fit. Salary is dependent on experience.
The Position You'll support Project Managers and site teams on commercial projects, keeping documentation, subcontractors and programs on track from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of commercial projects
Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings and transmittals
Help coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
Track programs, procurement and material lead times
Assist with variations, progress claims and cost reporting
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes and project reports
Compile defects lists, O&M; manuals and handover documentation

The Criteria You'll bring:




Experience as a Project Coordinator, Junior Project Manager or similar in commercial construction
A good understanding of how commercial projects run, on site and in the office
Robust organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
Explicit, confident communication with site teams, subcontractors and clients
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction software such as Procore or Aconex
A degree or diploma in construction management or a related field (well regarded)
A current driver's licence and White Card
Full Australian working rights
