Electrical Project Engineer | Brisbane | Permanent

Join the engineering team of a well established global equipment manufacturer, designing and delivering electrical and control systems for industrial machinery sold to customers across Australia and overseas.

The role
Own the electrical design of customer projects from sales handover through to commissioning
Produce electrical schematics, panel layouts and bills of materials
Develop and test PLC and HMI software for machine control
Specify and select components, and work with suppliers and the in-house build team
Act as the main technical contact for customers throughout the project
Support factory acceptance testing, site installation and commissioning

About you
Degree in Electrical Engineering (RPEQ or CPEng highly regarded)




Background at an equipment manufacturer (OEM) or machine builder, with hands-on design ownership
Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
PLC experience in Siemens TIA Portal or Rockwell Studio 5000
Confident working directly with customers and managing your own projects
