About Armidale Hotel

Armidale Hotel will be the town's recent social hub, bringing together great food, live entertainment, sport, family-friendly experiences, and community focused hospitality.

Set to open in December 2026, Armidale Hotel will feature:
A family-friendly bistro and bar

The Role

Love being behind the camera and know what makes a excellent post? We're looking for a creative local to help us capture the vibe at The Armidale Hotel.

Our marketing team is based in Sydney, so we need someone on the ground who can capture fresh, fun content for our socials, from food and drinks to events, live music and the people who make the place buzz.

What you'll do:
Shoot photos and short-form videos (Reels and TikToks) of food, drinks,



events and venue atmosphere
Capture content at key events and promos, then send it through quickly
Work to briefs from our Sydney marketing team, and pitch your own ideas too
Do basic edits so content is ready to post

What we're after:
A strong eye for content, with a portfolio or socials that show it
Creativity to come up with new ideas
Confidence shooting on a phone or camera and editing in CapCut
Knowing what's trending on Instagram and TikTok
Creativity to come up with new ideas
Collaborate with staff at the venue
Being reliable, able to work on your own and keep to timelines
Flexibility for some evening and weekend shifts
Hospitality experience is a bonus, but not a must
