The Company

Our client is an Australian medium sized construction business with a reputation for excellence. As a business they are enjoying a successful period and are well set for an exciting year ahead. This organisation has a skilled and upbeat open plan working culture and encourages work life balance. On offer is a team-oriented team within a head office setting. This Senior Accountant will work in a finance team and report to a CFO.

The Role

As the Senior Accountant, you will report into a CFO and take on a broad set of duties that includes:
Financial month end reporting duties
Board reporting
Prepare Year end and group consolidated financial reports
Preparation of the FBT, GST and BAS
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Maintain the Fixed asset register
Job Costing
Supervision and review of the AP, AR and payroll functions





Your Background

To be considered for this Senior Accountant position you will meet the majority of the following criteria:
Professionally qualified as an Accountant (e.g. CPA, CA or equivalent)
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Accountant wanting to step up or already be at the Senior Accountant level wanting a fresh challenge
Experience working in a medium to large business
Previous experience in the construction industry and/or using jobpac is highly advantageous
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
