Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the firm's Finance Disputes & Recoveries practice in Sydney. You will work directly with institutional clients and take responsibility for the progression of matters, providing practical and commercially focused advice across a wide-ranging finance litigation practice. Your work will include:
Mortgage enforcement matters
Possession proceedings
Secured and unsecured debt recovery
Enforcement proceedings
Finance-related litigation
Court proceedings across multiple jurisdictions
Advising financial institutions on recovery strategies
What you'll need to succeed
3+PQE
Experience in mortgage enforcement, finance litigation, recoveries or debt recovery
Strong knowledge of relevant court processes and enforcement procedures
Experience managing matters with a good level of autonomy
Strong drafting and technical legal skills
Commercially focused problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
Confidence dealing directly with sophisticated institutional clients
