About the role

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to embed security across solution design, development and delivery. You will lead secure architecture, threat modelling and DevSecOps practices, ensuring security controls are implemented and verified across technology settings.

Key responsibilities
Lead secure solution and platform architecture across cloud, infrastructure, networks and applications.
Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and security architecture reviews.
Develop security patterns, standards and reusable controls.
Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
Provide guidance on IAM, PAM, encryption and cloud security.
Ensure solutions align with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Promote secure-by-design and Zero Trust practices.

Highly desirable criteria
Experience with Azure Security, Entra ID, AWS GuardDuty and AWS Config.
Knowledge of Zero Trust, ISM, Essential Eight, NIST and ISO 27001.
Experience in cloud and hybrid-cloud security.
Queensland Government or public sector experience.

Desirable criteria
CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, CCSP or relevant Azure security certifications.
