Role Description This full-time Rope Access Technician role is an on-site position based in Brisbane, QLD. The technician will perform a variety of work-at-height tasks, including rope access operations for building maintenance, window cleaning, and inspections on commercial and industrial structures. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and dismantling rope access systems, conducting safe ascent and descent, performing cleaning and inspection activities, and documenting work performed. The role also involves following strict safety procedures, inspecting equipment before use,



and collaborating with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule. The technician will interact professionally with clients in office and ensure all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in rope access techniques, including Rope Access and Work at Height / Working at Height operations.
Experience with window cleaning at height and related building maintenance tasks.
Competence in visual Inspection of structures, fixtures, and equipment in high-access environments.
Valid rope access certification (e.g., IRATA, SPRAT, or equivalent) and demonstrated adherence to safety protocols.
Good physical fitness, ability to work in outdoor conditions, and comfort with heights.
Attention to detail, reliable time management, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Solid teamwork and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in office in varying conditions.
Previous experience in building services, industrial maintenance, or a related field is beneficial.
