Role: Solution Architect – Observability

Type: Full Time – Contract / Perm

Location: Melbourne / Sydney

Status: AU valid visa with full work rights

Skills: Observability Architecture, Splunk, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, SRE, Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture, Kubernetes, Monitoring, Telemetry, SLI/SLO

Experience: 10+ years

Requisites:
Solid experience designing enterprise-scale observability and monitoring architectures.
Architectural knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry or similar platforms.
Robust understanding of cloud, hybrid infrastructure, Kubernetes and enterprise platforms.
Experience with logs, metrics, traces, alerting and SRE practices.
Ability to define current and target-state architectures, standards and technology roadmaps.




Experience driving enterprise observability strategy, tool rationalisation and technology simplification.
Work closely with infrastructure, application, SRE, security and architecture teams.
Robust stakeholder engagement and technical architecture skills.

Nice to Have:
Experience with OpenTelemetry pipelines and cloud-native observability.
Knowledge of AIOps, event management and AI-assisted operations.
Experience with observability governance, licensing and cost optimisation.
