The Ranch is looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic Chef or Cook to join

our kitchen team over the 6 week summer period with the opportunity to continue.

This hands-on role is focused on our onsite catering, preparing and serving delicious

meals for guests and visitors in our cafe, with a side of catering for groups and events.

We're looking for someone who enjoys cooking in a café environment, takes pride in

their food and loves the variety of working in a busy adventure and accommodation

venue.

About the role

● Prepare and cook delicious, high-quality meals, including breakfast and lunch.

● Support the running of our café kitchen, ensuring efficient and timely service.

● Support catering for onsite events and functions as required.

● Cater for dietary requirements and allergies with care and accuracy.

● Maintain consistent food quality and presentation.

● Training and mentoring other kitchen members.

● Assist with menu development, food preparation, stock control and ordering.

● Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards.

About you

● Experience working in a commercial café or kitchen as a Chef or Cook.





● Confident in preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch dishes.

● Sound knowledge of food safety and allergy management.

● Organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy kitchen.

● Able to work independently and as part of a team.

● A positive attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to get involved.

● Experience with group catering - not essential, but a bonus!

● Must have Current driver's licence.

● Must have Working With Children Check.

Hours and availability

● Full-time prospect available.

Daytime focused hours with no late nights.

● Predominantly 8:30 - 3:30.

● Hours adaptable depending on experience and availability.
