A well-established investment business is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join on a permanent part time basis. This is a broad, autonomous in-house role for a commercially minded corporate lawyer who enjoys running deals. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

The role
Draft, negotiate and manage investment and M&A; transactions through to completion
Advise on fund matters, corporate governance and company secretarial work
Review and negotiate commercial contracts and handle routine employment matters
Brief and manage specialist external counsel where needed

About you
+6PQE in corporate and M&A; or funds management, ideally with top-tier or leading firm training
Confident working independently as the sole legal resource
Private capital, funds or investment experience highly regarded
Pragmatic, commercial and comfortable advising senior stakeholders
