Home Care Assistant Wanted – $50–$75 per Hour + super

Northern Beaches, Sydney | Casual | Flexible Shifts

We are looking for a kind, reliable and experienced carer to assist an elderly lady in her own home.

Flexible shifts are available, with prospects for regular ongoing work in a friendly and supportive family environment.

Available Shifts – Monday to Sunday
Shift 1 – Morning: 8:30 am – 11:30 am
Shift 2 – Afternoon: 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Shift 3 - All Day: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Shift 4 – Overnight Sleepover: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am

Apply for one or multiple shifts to suit your availability.

Main Duties
Assist with showering, dressing and personal hygiene.
Assist with medication as directed.
Help with mobility, walking and toileting.
Prepare breakfast, coffee and light refreshments as required.
Provide companionship and general care.
Light housekeeping and keeping the home tidy.
Assist with bedtime and overnight needs during sleepover shifts.

What We're Looking For
Experience in aged care or home care preferred.
Caring, patient, trustworthy and reliable.




Comfortable assisting with personal care and reduced mobility.
Experience with elderly people requiring oxygen support is an advantage.
Certificate III in Individual Support preferred but not essential.
Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
First Aid Certificate desirable.
Must have a valid driver's licence and own car.

Experienced carers without formal qualifications are welcome to apply.

Pay & Benefits
$50–$75 per hour, depending on experience and applicable shift arrangements.
SCHADS Award applies, including relevant penalty rates, casual loading and allowances.
Overnight sleepover payments in accordance with the SCHADS Award.
Versatile shifts and regular ongoing work.
