Bakery All-Rounder / Barista — MARCEL Surry Hills

We’re looking for an experienced, outgoing hospitality professional to join MARCEL Surry Hills as we introduce our fresh bakery concept and exciting recent product range.

This is a key role in our team. You’ll be the welcoming face of the bakery—connecting with customers, remembering regulars and making every visit a outstanding experience. You’ll also prepare coffee, present our products beautifully and help keep the shop clean, organised and running smoothly.

What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in Australian cafés, bakeries or hospitality venues is essential.
An outgoing personality and outstanding customer service.




Confident coffee-making skills and experience operating a commercial coffee machine.
Fluent spoken English and explicit communication skills.
A genuine passion for hospitality, with an attentive approach to customers.
Reliability, initiative and pride in every part of the shop.
A team player looking for a long-term opportunity.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, brings positive energy and makes customers feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.

Pay: $32.00 – $36.00 per hour
