Bux Pipe & Civil is seeking experienced Pipelayers to join our crew on civil construction projects across South Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast.

We're looking for reliable, hardworking pipelayers who know their way around a civil site, can work independently and take pride in getting the job done right.

Key Responsibilities
Installation of stormwater, sewer and water mains
Installation and construction of pits, manholes and drainage structures
Reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings
Shooting levels and setting pipe grades using pipe lasers and levelling equipment
Pipe laying, bedding, backfilling and trench preparation
Working alongside operators and site supervisors to maintain productivity
Following site safety procedures and maintaining quality workmanship

Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in civil pipelaying preferred




Proven experience in stormwater, sewer and water infrastructure
Pit building and manhole construction experience
Ability to read plans, shoot heights and work to required levels and grades
Confident using pipe lasers and levelling equipment
Construction White Card
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Robust work ethic, reliability and attention to detail

Please note: This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have hands-on civil pipelaying experience.

Pay: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
