The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking an enthusiastic, suitably qualified person for a remote posting on Willis Island for approximately six months. The successful applicant will join a four‐person team and depart from Cairns in April 2027, with an additional October 2027 deployment prospect.

Willis Island is the only permanently inhabited island in the Coral Sea Territory and hosts significant environmental research.
