About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe VTAM Administrator to configure, maintain, and support the network and connectivity layer of our IBM z/OS workplace. You will manage VTAM and TCP/IP definitions, support the introduction of new applications and network devices, and keep mainframe printing and network resources running reliably.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain VTAM, including VTAMLST maintenance.
Create application definitions and cross-domain resource definitions for new applications.
Configure TCP/IP networking on z/OS and maintain the TCP/IP profile.
Manage networks and connectivity, and monitor network resources to identify and resolve issues.
Support the installation and testing of new network devices.
Set up and configure VPS (VTAM Printer Support) for mainframe printing.
Follow change and configuration management processes: test updates and promote them through staging environments.
Identify, diagnose,



and resolve problems with network products and their usage, working with requestors.
