Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of 1 to 3 years of previous experience in a similar role and in a busy restaurant
Trade qualifications with Associate Degree, Diploma or Higher qualification in Commercial Cookery a must
Intermediate to advanced communication skills
Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
Excellent organizational skills
Understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP




*Skills and experience in both Indian and contemporary Australian cuisines are essential.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Help Planning menu preparation & ensure adequate supplies are available for expected service
Follow the instructions given by chef
Maintain excellent presentation standards for all food, whilst maintaining recipe standards
Regulating and monitoring temperatures of all the equipment's used in kitchen like grills, fridges, ovens and freezers
Prepare and cook food and seasoning of the food to ensure high quality
Ensure correct portioning of the food items during serving of food .
Train the kitchen hands and apprentice in the kitchen.
Keep all working areas clean, tidy and ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned to OHS standards

Minimum Salary from $80000 to $90000 Plus superannuation

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
