Mathiou Services is a family-owned building maintenance business, operating since 2009. We look after schools, early learning centres, aged care and government sites across Queensland and Northern NSW.

We're looking for a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our Burleigh Heads office. You'll be the link between our clients, technicians and office, turning incoming work orders into a well-run week so jobs get done on time, safely and right the first time. You'll learn to manage jobs from start to finish, from work order through scheduling and completion to invoicing. For the right person, this is a pathway into senior leadership as the business grows.

What you'll do
Receive and log work orders, then schedule and dispatch technicians and subcontractors
Plan the week ahead so travel is effective and urgent jobs are covered
Keep clients updated from booking through to completion
Chase job paperwork, photos and SWMS so jobs can be closed and invoiced promptly
Work in Simpro every day to manage jobs, schedules and timesheets
Work closely with our estimators, operations team and purchasing team

About you




2+ years in scheduling, dispatch or coordination. Facilities maintenance, trades, logistics or rostering all count
Calm under pressure when the phone rings and the plan changes
Explicit, friendly communicator with clients and tradies alike
Comfortable with job management software (Simpro a bonus, but we'll train you)
Ambitious: you want to step up into managing people and operations over the next few years

What we offer
$80,000 – $100,000 + super, depending on experience
$2,000 sign-on bonus, paid after your first 3 months
40 hours, Monday to Friday, with a versatile start between 6:30am and 8:30am
Burleigh Heads office with parking, no city commute, and a work phone provided
