Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, filling and cleaning.
Apply paints, primers, varnishes, stains, sealants and protective coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
Mix and match paint colours to achieve specified finish and client requirements.
Measure work areas and estimate material requirements for projects.
Protect furniture, fixtures, flooring and surrounding surfaces before commencing work.
Repair minor surface defects, cracks, holes and damaged plaster prior to painting.
Apply decorative, textured and specialty finishes as required.
Read and interpret work orders, plans, specifications and project requirements.
Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards and client expectations.
Maintain painting tools, equipment and supplies in positive working order.
Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Collaborate effectively with Supervisors, clients, apprentices and other tradespeople.
Assist with training and mentoring junior staff where required.
Complete projects within agreed timeframes while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Pay: $79,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
