ACE is a SCADA, electrical, instrumentation and communications engineering company working across power utilities, renewable energy and BESS, water & wastewater, rail, mining and critical infrastructure.

We’re looking for a Solution Architect to be the technical front door for client enquiries. You’ll take an enquiry, dig into what the client actually needs, design a practical solution, price it, and present and discuss it with the client through to a decision.

What you’ll do
Own incoming enquiries, RFQs and RFPs for electrical, SCADA, control and communications work
Ask the right questions – run discovery meetings, site visits and workshops to understand the real problem
Design fit-for-purpose solutions across SCADA/HMI, PLC/RTU, telemetry and OT networks, electrical control and instrumentation
Prepare accurate estimates and transparent, skilled proposals
Present solutions to clients, handle questions and revisions, and follow up through to award
Hand awarded projects over cleanly to our delivery team

What you’ll bring
Degree in Electrical,



Control Systems, Automation or similar
Solid hands-on experience designing, delivering or commissioning SCADA, PLC/RTU and electrical control systems
Experience preparing estimates, quotations or proposals
Working knowledge of common SCADA/PLC platforms (e.g. Geo SCADA, Citect/AVEVA, Ignition, Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley)
Robust communication skills – comfortable presenting to and negotiating with clients
Commercial awareness around scope, risk and margin

Experience with utility, renewable, water or rail clients – particularly WA utilities – will be highly regarded.

Inquisitive, practical and client-focused. You have technical credibility with engineers and operators, explain complex things simply, and take ownership of an enquiry from first call to handover.
