About the Company

Our client is a food industry business based in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The business is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day finance operations, month-end close and financial reporting on a five-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
Assist with inventory reconciliations and cost reporting.
Support BAS preparation and other finance compliance requirements.
Work closely with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies.

About You




Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
Previous experience in an Accountant or similar role.
Robust Excel skills and experience using accounting systems.
Positive attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Experience in food, FMCG or manufacturing would be advantageous.
Available to commit to the full five-month contract.
