Senior Network Engineer | Leading Trading Firm | Sydney (Other Global Offices Considered)

One of the world’s leading trading firms is hiring a hands-on Senior Network Engineer in Sydney. You’d own the infrastructure behind all of the firm’s trading and non-trading activity across APAC.

You'll work on
End-to-end APAC data centre deployments, including network and security platforms
Multi-zone, multi-tier firewall architecture across APAC
Arista and Cisco, all managed as Infrastructure as Code
Automating, monitoring and benchmarking for reliability, capacity and latency

This is for you if
You have 10+ years as a senior network engineer or architect, with proven on-box experience
You’ve designed, built and supported data centre, LAN and WAN settings
You’ve worked on low-latency networks
You manage networks as code, not just from the CLI

Bonus: experience at a trading firm, market maker, hedge fund, investment bank or exchange. Colocation, exchange connectivity, multicast and PTP are also a plus.

On offer: a small senior team with full ownership, direct impact on trading, and close work with developers, researchers and hardware engineers.
