Your new company

An excellent opportunity has become available to join a government organisation based south of the river. You will join an established finance team and support the organisation across its Accounts Receivable function.

Your new role

This is a temporary Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable opportunity commencing as soon as possible and initially running through the Christmas period, with the possibility of extension.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing and processing debtor invoices
Generating credit notes and processing refunds
Managing Accounts Receivable transactions and maintaining accurate financial records
Following up outstanding debts and undertaking collection activities
Responding to customer and internal stakeholder enquiries

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous Accounts Receivable, Finance Officer or similar transactional finance experience




Robust Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Solid customer service and communication skills
Confidence in managing debtor enquiries and following up on outstanding accounts
Ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate
