An excellent opportunity has become available to join a government organisation based north of the river. You will work within an established finance team in a qualified and supportive setting, with the added benefit of on-site parking.
Your new role
This is a temporary Accounts Payable opportunity commencing in early December, with the potential for extension. You will manage a busy end-to-end AP function, including:
Managing and monitoring the Accounts Payable inbox
Setting up and maintaining new supplier accounts
Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
Ensuring invoices are accurately coded and entered into the system
Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
Responding to supplier and internal Accounts Payable queries
Preparing invoices and supporting documentation for payment runs
Maintaining accurate supplier and payment records
Assisting the wider finance team as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role,
you will ideally have:
Previous end-to-end Accounts Payable experience
Proven experience processing high volumes of invoices
Strong supplier statement reconciliation skills
Experience working with payment runs and supplier maintenance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
