We are seeking experienced Registered Nurse Scrub Scouts to join a busy and dynamic perioperative team in Brisbane. This role is ideal for nurses with strong experience across a range of surgical specialties, particularly Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery , who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced theatre environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide protected, evidence-based perioperative nursing care.
Demonstrate clinical expertise in Scrub/Scout nursing across a variety of surgical procedures.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and infection control standards.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities.
Assist with the education and support of junior staff where required.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.





Essential Criteria
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Perioperative Scrub Scout Registered Nurse.
Solid experience in Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, and other surgical specialties highly regarded.
Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced theatre environment.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing (desirable).
