Job Summary:
The Boiler Attendant is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring boilers to ensure a steady steam supply for meat processing operations. This includes routine inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain steam boilers and auxiliary equipment.
Monitor pressure, temperature, and water levels for optimal performance.
Conduct routine maintenance and report any faults.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Maintain records of boiler operations and water treatment.
Support general maintenance tasks as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:
Boiler Operation certification (e.g., Boiler Attendant's Certificate).
Experience in an industrial or food processing workplace preferred.
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.

Work Conditions:
Exposure to heat, steam, and industrial noise.
Physically demanding role; shift work may be required.

They do a rotating roster with around 4 other gentlemen. Rate of pay sits around $41 an hour.
