A rewarding, hands-on prospect has arisen for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join a well-established organisation, supporting a diverse workforce with a robust focus on payroll accuracy, compliance and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 900 employees, including 600 permanent employees paid fortnightly and 300 casual employees paid weekly
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with relevant awards and legislation
Interpret awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions
Calculate and process long service leave (LSL) entitlements and payments
Manage superannuation calculations and payments.
Respond to payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner




Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiencies
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements

About You:
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end payroll within a medium to large organisation
Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, award interpretation and compliance
Experience using a large payroll system such as Chris21, Dayforce, MicrOpay or similar
Experience with Aurion will be highly regarded
