About the role:

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant / Technician to join our busy team based at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. In this role, you will work closely with our pharmacists to deliver exceptional healthcare and protected medication management to our community.

As the Pharmacy Assistant or Technician, you will be responsible for:
Perform tasks of drug distribution necessary to ensure the protected and accurate distribution of medication.
Provide patient service, pharmaceutical dispensing and production activities in their designated areas as outlined in the departmental Policy and Procedures Manual.
Ensure that medications are used and managed in accordance with legislative requirements and hospital policies.
Prepare sterile and non-sterile products according to the Department's Master Formulations.




Participate in departmental quality assurance and key performance indicator programs.
Participate in performance development processes to contribute to own skilled growth and service outcomes.
