Milestone IT is partnering with a leading hospital organisation to recruit an experienced Business Analyst with strong Cerner experience for an initial 6-month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a healthcare setting, supporting key technology initiatives and working closely with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Please note: Previous hands-on Cerner experience is essential for this role.

The Role

As the Business Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding business and clinical requirements, analysing existing processes and supporting the delivery of technology solutions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:
Engage with clinical, business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Analyse existing workflows, systems and business processes.
Translate business and clinical needs into clear functional requirements and specifications.
Work closely with technical teams to support solution design and implementation.
Facilitate workshops,



stakeholder interviews and requirements sessions.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
Support system testing, UAT and implementation activities.
Ensure solutions align with business objectives and clinical requirements.

Skills & Experience
Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within a complex organisation.
Solid hands-on experience with Cerner is a must-have.
Previous experience within a hospital or healthcare environment.
Solid requirements gathering, documentation and process mapping skills.
Experience working with clinical systems and healthcare workflows.
Ability to engage with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades or enhancements.
Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
