We’re recruiting experienced Disability Support Workers for casual prospects in and around the Hornsby area of Sydney.

You’ll have a dedicated rostering team you can connect with personally, alongside technology that makes managing your shifts easier.

About the role

You’ll provide practical, person-centred support that helps people build everyday skills, participate in their communities and lead meaningful lives.

Depending on the placement and each person’s needs, your responsibilities may include:
Supporting daily living activities and personal care.
Administering medication in line with training and procedures.
Encouraging independence, choice and community participation.
Following individual support plans and behaviour support strategies.




Maintaining accurate records and communicating with your team.

What you’ll bring
At least six months’ paid experience in a similar role.
A minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care or a related qualification.
An understanding of restrictive practices.
Experience administering medication and providing personal care.
The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Robust verbal and written communication skills.

Highly regarded experience and training
PEG feeding training and experience.
Experience driving a people mover or minibus.
Medication administration and manual handling training.
Therapeutic Crisis Intervention or behaviour management training.

Required checks and licences
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Working With Children Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
Full NSW driver licence.
Two professional references.
COVID-19 vaccination, including a booster.
