Rockmount is recruiting an Electrician on behalf of a national pump company. They need an Electrician who's comfortable around pumps, motors and plant rooms, and who can work out a fault without ringing a mate. This is a Temp to Perm prospect: you'll start on assignment through Rockmount, with a genuine pathway to permanent employment with our client.

What you'll be doing
Installing and repairing pump-related electrical equipment at water treatment sites, including motors, switchgear, valves, actuators and dosing systems
Installing, inspecting and testing water treatment and process control systems
Fault finding, troubleshooting and condition reporting
Testing and calibrating sensors and associated equipment
Working to JSEAs, permits to work, isolations and risk analysis
Reading engineering drawings and writing service reports, with transparent job notes and photos of the work completed




Working as part of a 3-man field service crew on service and repair jobs

What you'll need
Australian Electrical Trade Qualification
Current White Card
Current Working at Heights ticket (preferred)
Current Confined Space Rescue ticket (preferred)
At least 1 year post-trade experience as an electrician
Water job experience or Pump experience and an MR licence both highly regarded
Current driver's licence
