Our Client is specialist in pressure testing of valves and rotating equipment, working within the Oil & Gas, Water Treatment and Chemical Mining industries. Due to continuous growth and expansion they are looking to recruit and experienced valve technician with a robust background in pressure testing and overhauling a variety of valves.
Key Requirements:
Mechanical Trade certificate
Minimum 3 years post trade experience in a similar role with experience ideally working both in the workshop and site based as fitter / technician
Strong background stripping down, servicing, repairing and pressure testing valves including PSV, Control, Ball Gate, Butterfly etc.
Solid experience hydrostatic testing valves
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Ability to work well within a team and independently, with a robust commitment always to OH&S;
Background working with an OEM or services company beneficial
