Senior Development Engineer

As a Senior Development Engineer, you will facilitate new development while maintaining compliance with relevant Council delivery standards, engineering principles and permit related conditions. You'll be responsible for evaluating development applications to assess compliance with relevant development controls.

DUTIES
Proficient in hydraulic, hydrologic, and drainage system modelling and design software
Sound working knowledge of construction practices and their impacts on public infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and support the career development of others
Negotiating outcomes with internal and external stakeholders

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE




Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications
Previous experience in Local Government is highly desirable
High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
