This is a hands-on position that will see you take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function while providing broader support across finance operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, compliantly and on time for a workforce of 150+ employees across multiple sites and agreements.

Description
End-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payroll for 150+ employees
Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, awards, STP2 reporting and statutory obligations
Processing current starters, employee changes, terminations, ETPs and back pays
Managing leave entitlements, salary sacrifice, child support and employee loan deductions
Acting as the key point of contact for payroll-related queries
Managing payroll reconciliations, payroll tax, superannuation and month-end requirements
Coordinating year-end payroll processing and reporting
Managing payroll records, employee files and payroll inboxes




Supporting the implementation of the MYOB Workforce Management module and integration with the payroll system

Profile
Proven experience processing end-to-end payroll
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and compliance requirements
Experience supporting broader finance functions, ideally including Accounts Payable
Excellent attention to detail and reconciliation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Advanced Excel skills
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
High levels of integrity and confidentiality
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines
Experience with MYOB Advanced (Acumatica) will be highly regarded
