The Construction Engineer will:
Manage the delivery of Council’s annual works programs for transport, stormwater, and Council gravel pits.
Deliver ordered work packages for bridges, wharves, jetties, boat ramps, other marine infrastructure.
Ensure the activities associated with delivering the above programs are undertaken in a secure, effective and sustainable manner, with the customer front of mind.
Manage and supervise staff to achieve the above, following the council’s values and code of conduct, and in compliance with workplace health and safety legislation.
Lead business improvement and people management for the area of responsibility.

Essential Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent combined with demonstrated relevant experience.
Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence (or another State equivalent).
General Construction Induction Card (white card)
