Sous Chef - Full-Time

$80,000 Annual Base + 12% Superannuation
Monday - Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm hours(occasional weekend work)
Excellent Brisbane CBD location
No Public Holidays

We're on the hunt for an experienced Sous Chef to lead a premium corporate catering operation in the heart of Brisbane. This Full time role is perfect for a Sous Chef who thrives in a professional, rapid-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-end dining experiences.

You'll be leading culinary operations for a prestigious corporate client, focusing on fine dining, executive catering, and polished corporate events—Monday to Friday, with occasional evening functions.

The Position:
Food preparation and cooking
Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
Friendly customer service




Function work and large volume cooking
Stocktake and control
HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S; regulations
General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

The Person:
Minimum Cert III Chef trade qualification
An understanding of Café style food advantageous
Highly organised and energetic hands on leader
Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating with food safety and allergen management compliance.
Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable
Confident in OH&S; regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
Willing to work mornings and evenings
