We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our energetic production team at Brisbane Laser Cutting Services in Deception Bay, Queensland.
As a full-time Brake Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and fabrication of high-quality metal products for our clients.
What you'll be doing
Accurately operate and maintain our state-of-the-art brake press machinery to bend, shape and form stainless steel components
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work orders to ensure precise fabrication of parts
Perform quality checks on finished products to maintain our high standards
Contribute to a safe and efficient production environment by following all safety protocols
Collaborate with the wider production team to meet tight deadlines and delivery schedules
Assist with general housekeeping and workshop maintenance as required
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Forklift licence highly regarded
