The Role
Manage the end-to-end tendering and pre-contracts process for civil construction projects
Identify and assess upcoming tender opportunities
Review tender documentation, specifications, drawings and project requirements
Coordinate estimates, cost plans, pricing and tender submissions
Liaise with Project Managers, estimators, subcontractors, suppliers and clients
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
Identify commercial risks, project constraints and opportunities
Prepare tender schedules, methodologies and supporting documentation
Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and within deadlines
Support the business in securing new civil construction projects

Position Requirements
Previous experience in aPre-Contracts Manager, Estimator or Tendering Managerrole within civil construction
Strong understanding of civil infrastructure and construction methodologies
Demonstrated experience preparing and managing competitive tender submissions
Strong commercial, analytical and cost-estimating skills
Ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications and contract documentation
Experience coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing
Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines
