YOUR NEW ROLE
As aKEY seniormember of their winningnational TM team(led and being mentored by 2 industry leading TM specialist partners including the Head of TMs), you will relish:
takingFULL OWNERSHIPof your own TM practice and clients;
advising a diverse client base in respect of afull spectrumof TM issues relating to research, searches, brand selection strategies, registration, prosecution of TMs (and non-TMs cases eg copyright, domain names), opposition, non-use and licensing, risk management/regulatory compliance and working closely with internal IP/TM lawyers in relation to infringement actions & dispute resolution/litigation of TMs.
mentoring junior TM attorneys/IP staff;
partaking in the firm's business development/marketing initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
have aminimumof 4-15+years as aregistered trademark attorneyand/or TM lawyer (and happy to practice as a TM attorney);
have strong technical knowledge ofcurrent trademark law+ practice(including prosecution process, opposition proceedings and enforcement of TMs);
have strongcommunication/people/leadershipskills+ commercialacumen;
have proven experience inbusiness development/marketingOR keen to partake in such (if no experience);
are ambitious and aspire to be aleaderwith your own practice/team;
are willing and able to relocate to Sydney.
