About the Role
We are seekingSupport Workersto provide2:1 supportfor a participant with highly complex support needs inBringelly.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Providing personal care and daily living support
Administering and monitoring medication
Using de-escalation and redirection techniques during periods of distress
Supporting safe community access and transport using a house vehicle
Maintaining clear, accurate progress notes and incident reports
Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistent 2:1 support and risk management

About the Role

Implementing Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) strategies
Using de-escalation and redirection techniques during periods of distress
Supporting safe community access and transport using a house vehicle
Maintaining clear, accurate progress notes and incident reports
Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistent 2:1 support and risk management
You Will Ideally Have
Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours of concern
Experience responding to self-injurious behaviours, verbal aggression, physical aggression, suicidal ideation, and property damage




Strong understanding of Behaviour Support Plans and positive behaviour support practices
Experience completing incident reports and documenting complex incidents
Experience with medication management and personal care
Previous experience working within a 2:1 support model
Experience transporting complex participants in a house vehicle
Experience supporting Child and Youth participants as well as NDIS participants
Strong boundary-setting skills, particularly around transport, routines, and participant expectations
The ability to remain calm, qualified, and consistent in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Essential Requirements
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Australian working rights
