With a strong pipeline of residential renovation projects across Sydney, we are looking for an experienced Wall & Floor Tiler to join our growing team full-time.
About the Role
You will be working across residential bathroom, laundry, kitchen and internal renovation projects throughout Sydney.
We are looking for an experienced tiler who can work independently, coordinate with our plumbers, carpenters and other trades, and consistently deliver a high-quality finish.
The role covers the full tiling process from set-out and screeding through to tile installation, cutting, mitres, grouting, silicone and final finishing.
Responsibilities
Setting out tiles from plans and site measurements
Establishing reference lines and planning layouts around fixtures, penetrations, wastes and fittings
Mixing and applying sand-cement screeds and mortar beds
Forming correct falls to floor wastes and drainage points
Checking levels, falls and finished heights prior to tiling
Laying wall and floor tiles using appropriate adhesives and installation methods
Cutting, drilling and shaping tiles accurately around fixtures, wastes, niches, corners and penetrations




Completing mitred edges and other detailed finishes where required
Grouting and cleaning completed tiled areas to achieve a high-quality finish
Applying silicone and sealants to junctions, movement joints and other required areas
Coordinating with Luxecraft's plumbers, carpenters and other trades
Maintaining clean and organised work areas and protecting completed work
Completing works in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and project requirements
Taking responsibility for the quality and completion of allocated worksCarrying out all work in accordance with WHS requirements and Luxecraft's site procedures
About You
Minimum 4 years experience in residential tiling and renovation work
Strong experience with bathroom, laundry and kitchen tiling
Confidence with screeding and forming correct falls to drainage
Strong set-out, tile cutting, drilling and mitre skills
Ability to read and work from plans and layouts
High attention to detail and pride in your finished work
Positive understanding of relevant Australian Standards
White Card
Driver's licence
Good communication and presentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
